Wheel Werks is the result of owner Bob Olsen’s restless, 39-year pursuit of cycling perfection.
Beginning as a junior road and criterium racer, his passion has taken him to Europe, Africa and South America, across the United States (as a Race Across America team mechanic) three times, and to scores of camps and clinics where he lectures on bike fitting. Recently completed a life long dream of riding across the United States from Everret Washington to Rye Beach New Hampshire. 3800 miles in 35 days with over 140,000 feet of climbing.
Although familiar with some of today’s latest fitting technology, with a number of active certifications, Bob relies on more than 5000 fits worth of experience in his work with Wheel Werks riders.
Today he’s an avid touring cyclist and enjoys long solo rides, as well as fat biking and as much trail riding as he can manage. Wheel Werks is, after all, a riders’ shop.
Over the years, Bob has been fortunate to work with so many of the area’s most passionate cyclists, giving them a home at Wheel Werks.
