We do it by crafting each bike to its rider. Attention to every detail. A custom fitting that can bring new life to a current bike. We do stock a number of bikes as well as custom order. However, even our in-stock bikes are most often custom fitted to your specs. It may take a little longer – but like you, we’re in this for the long haul.

We have a very heavy focus on the fit of the bicycle to your body. We don’t just size a bike off the floor, we fit it to you.

Wheel Werks is an enthusiast focused shop. We are more geared towards the pavement rider. But we have access to many great off road bikes and help sponsor a mountain bike team. The owner Bob Olsen has a long connection to Race Across America and understands the long distance rider or someone touring across the states or around the great lakes. Every year we help many people do week long events like RAGBRAI. Whether it is your first tri, road ride or race we want to help you achieve your goals.

A large part of our business has become the tri market. We understand tri and every year have well over 50 clients doing Iron Man races, plus countless people from beginner to Olympic distance. We don’t carry all the running and swim accessories. We let the other experts we partner with do that. The bicycle is the most complex piece of the three sports. We want to focus on your fit and mechanical needs. Think about all the biomechanical issues of your fit over the miles training and racing or the mechanical things going on as you descend that hill at 40 plus mph, we feel you want a expert focused on just this.
